- 190m of full track formation reconditioning to improve track resilience
- Removal and reinstatement of existing rail and sleepers
- Installation of new structural fill, capping, and ballast to ARTC standards
- Cess drainage upgrades to manage water runoff and minimise maintenance
- Rail welding and stress-free temperature adjustments to maintain track integrity
- Track resurfacing and certification in line with ARTC requirements
- Replacement of new Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert (RCBCs)
Bengalla Junction Reconditioning – 291.540km to 291.730k
- Complete replacement of the existing culvert to improve drainage capacity
- Installation of new reinforced concrete pipes (RCPs) and headwalls
- Excavation, proof rolling, and geotechnical treatment for a stable formation
- Placement of capping and structural layers to protect the rail formation
- Track reinstatement, resurfacing, and certification ensuring compliance with ARTC specification
